Reese
Adopt MeGift Me a Bucket of Fish!
Show all of the big boys that I am just as big in spirit.
Reese is working with one of our new trainers on a behavior called "Dorsal High Five". He's still trying to figure out the mechanics and keeps trying to lay himself across his trainer's lap, and he's enjoying every minute of it!
Delta, Gambit, and Reese continue to show what a great group they are as they spend quality time together in and outside of sessions.
Delta, Jax, and Reese have been really proud of their medical behaviors lately. When they feel like they have done a good job, they love to go on a big dive in celebration!
When Reese is excited, he will reinforce himself with a dive, such as when he was done painting, he celebrated with a high dive with a tail flick, showing that he was pretty proud of himself!
Delta and Reese are doing great as they continue to live with their friends. They swap on who gets to be best friends with Jax from time to time.
Reese’s 2025 Resolution: To see if I can wiggle my tongue even faster this year. The people love it!
Delta and Reese make a great pair and enjoy doing things together. Currently, they are learning the behavior where one of them will dive over the other and then eventually they will switch roles and the other one will have the chance to dive.
When he feels like it, Reese is definitely an athlete. He is working hard on this back-tail walk and banana jump!
Delta and Reese always get a kick out of playing with the guests for a narration. They were playing with the crowd, doing signals and both boys got so excited to do a speed run when the crowd asked.
Since our last update, Gambit and Reese moved over the causeway to join the side with the big boys. The little guys have been becoming used to living in the big lagoon on the right side. The younger boys are still enjoying learning about their new lagoon.
Delta, Louie, and Reese enjoyed meeting our most recent visitors from the Wounded Warrior Project. Louie and Delta enjoyed doing a swim with them. Reese could not stop bringing them presents. He would bring one and then immediately go get another one until everyone had a gift from him.
Gambit, Jax and Reese helped with our very first Dolphin Academy program! They aided with the training portion as the students put their knowledge of training to use working with all three boys training the behavior of “the world’s longest dolphin”.
